Websense® Security Labs™ has received reports of a phishing attack that targets customers of St. George Bank. Users receive a spoofed email message requesting that they review their account details as part of a security update. The email provides a link to a phishing site which attempts to collect personal and account information.

This phishing site is hosted in Australia and was up at the time of this alert.

Phishing email text:

Dear customers.
Your privacy and security are important to us as they are to you. St.George Bank is improving security technology on SSL to ensure that your personal information and confidential transactions remain safe, secure and private.
Click on the link below and review your account details for security update.
