Are you keeping your sensitive information locked down? It’s important to have a secure password to prevent unwanted entry. Strong passwords may be/include:
Password Length
Typical passwords range from 8-15 characters, but may often times be more or less than that. Staying within the range allows you to create a password that is complex enough to keep anyone from guessing it, yet easy enough for you to remember. Some people opt in to use entire phrases or sentences!
Special Characters
Special characters are the non-alphabetical or numeric characters that you may be required to use to improve security. This breaks up a password that is easy to crack by inserting a random symbol.
Capitalization
Some password fields require at least one capital letter in the mix to add security. Adding this does not always help though, as not all fields are case sensitive.
Creating a strong password is a great start to protecting your information online.
